Nella sua condizione standard di invecchiamento (tipicamente AMS 5731 o AMS 5732), l'A286 presenta un carico di rottura minimo di 130 ksi (896 MPa) e un carico di snervamento (0,2% Offset) di 85 ksi (586 MPa), unito a un'eccellente duttilit\u00e0 (allungamento minimo di 15%). Per temperature pi\u00f9 elevate, si consiglia di considerare leghe a base di nichel come la Alloy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tensile_And_Yield_Strength\"><\/span>Resistenza alla trazione e allo snervamento<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allo stato standard di tempra per invecchiamento, questa lega offre una forte combinazione di resistenza e duttilit\u00e0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Resistenza alla trazione (UTS): Minimo 130 ksi (896 MPa). Ci\u00f2 significa che il materiale pu\u00f2 sopportare un'enorme forza di trazione prima di rompersi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resistenza allo snervamento (offset 0,2%): 85 ksi (586 MPa) minimo. Questo garantisce che l'A286 mantenga la sua forma sotto carichi pesanti senza deformazioni permanenti.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Duttilit\u00e0: \u00c8 un aspetto cruciale. Il materiale deve resistere alla \"deformazione dipendente dal tempo\" (cio\u00e8 al creep) ad alte temperature e a carichi costanti. Le propriet\u00e0 meccaniche dell'A286 sono state verificate in modo specifico mediante prove di rottura sotto sforzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Per soddisfare gli standard industriali, la lega deve sopportare un carico di 65 ksi (448 MPa) a una temperatura di 1200 \u00b0F per 23 ore senza cedimenti. Produttori e acquirenti devono distinguere tra i diversi standard AMS perch\u00e9 determinano risultati meccanici molto diversi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AMS 5731 \/ AMS 5732: si tratta del trattamento standard di cui sopra, principalmente per ottimizzare l'elevata resistenza alla trazione e alla frattura da stress della lega.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AMS 5737: \u00e8 un grosso errore confonderlo con la lavorazione standard.
